GENERAL (A)

Intensive

An intensive language course designed for anyone interested in starting their studies or in improving their communicative skills in Spanish. Contents, goals and teaching methods are geared to the communicative needs and the competence level of the student. The method is based on continuous practice.

A program with 4 lessons per day. Classes begin at 9:30 a.m. and continue until a break at 11:15 a.m. The first two hours consist of in-depth study of specific aspects of grammar and oral practice. After the 30 minute break ('coffee time') the final two hours consist of oral and written activities: comprehension practice – audio-visual material and analysis of documents (magazines, books, television, radio) and conversational time related to the specific subjects studied during the morning. Classes end at 1:40 p.m. Practical exercises and constant participation of the student are guaranteed in all courses, in order to improve his/her oral expression and the other language skills: listening, reading and writing.

Levels 2-6: Every Monday.

Levels: Beginners (0) to advanced (6).

           Self-assessment grid

Age: Adults.

Maximum of students per group: 6.

Classes per day: 4.

Classes per week: 20.

Duration of classes: 50 minutes.

Schedule: From 9:30 to 13:40. Coffee break from 11:15 to 11:50.

Method: Rotation of teachers.

Material included in the price: Books and all the necessary equipment.  

Social and cultural activities: Programmed every 2 weeks with several afternoon and weekend activities. 

*Local holidays: No classes, or substituted with another activity from the above.

*Local holidays: February 28th, March 21st, May 22nd, August 15th, October 12th.

 INTENSIVE LANGUAGE COURSES

GENERAL (B)

Super intensive 

This course is a 6- hour per day program. The basic outline of this program follows the description of GENERAL (A), but with the addition of the first class and the last one used to focus on the most needed and specific language points: conversation, comprehension, grammar, pronunciation, etc.

Developed for students who are more ambitious and wish to take advantage of additional classes and for those who have less time at their disposal to spend in Spain.
