Awarded by the Ministry of Education and Science and organised by the Cervantes Institute, the exams take place in Granada and at other examination centres (all over Spain and many other countries in the World) in May, August and November. Exam registration can be handled by the school.
The course is developed and prepared to enable students to obtain the D.E.L.E.'s diploma in all three levels: Intermediate-mid (Threshold), High-intermediate and Superior. The activities in the classroom are aimed at practising and improving the 6 parts of the exam: the 4 skills (writing, listening, speaking and reading) plus grammar and vocabulary.
The program of the course includes a real exam at least once a week. Option I: Complete preparatory course. 5 classes daily, 25 classes per week.
Option II: Complementary course. 1 class daily, 5 classes per week.

Since 1994, 98% of the students trained by Castila successfully passed their exams. Duration: OPTION I: from 1 to 14 weeks OPTION II: from 1 week Levels: DIPLOMA DE ESPAÑOL (Nivel Inicial) Intermediate-mid / Threshold level This accredits sufficient knowledge of the language to allow control in situations which require an elementary use of the language. DIPLOMA DE ESPAÑOL (Nivel Intermedio): High-intermediate level. This accredits the neccessary knowledge of the language to allow communication in everyday situations which do not require specialized terms. DIPLOMA DE ESPAÑOL (Nivel Superior): Superior level.

in all situations requiring advanced use of the language and a
knowledge of cultural background.
Age: From 18 years old. Maximum of students per group: 6. Classes per day: OPTION I: 5. OPTION II: 1. Classes per week: OPTION I: 25. OPTION II: 1. Duration of classes: 50 minutes. Schedule: OPTION I: From 9:30 to 13:40. OPTION II: From 13:30 to 14:30. Method: Rotation of teachers. Material included in the price: Books and all the necessary equipment. Social and cultural activities: Programmed every 2 weeks with several afternoon and weekend activities. *Local holidays: No classes or substituted with another activity from the above. Local holidays: February 28th, April 14th, June 15th, October 12th, November 1st, December 8th. |

Organised by the Chamber of Commerce, Industry and Navigation of Madrid, in collaboration with University of Alcalá (Madrid) and with accredited language centres such as Castila. The exams take place in Castila after the course. You can choose the examination date. Exam registration is handled by the school. |
